Another idea for 11 Oct 2008

After I am done with some of the personal projects that I am taking up for VCS,I will be able to devote some time out from the EDA industry to delve into the stock markets , I know it is difficult to find a site that maintains all the data , but I will like to get out as much as data as possible from the other stock sites and get one consolidated website to do all that. Initially it might be very difficult to go ahead given the volume of data , but since managing work like in VCS you learn to manage huge regressions ( number of test cases ) you grow up to the idea of having an environment where huge data is getting monitored.

I will also be trying to get in some AI into the market, I know it is difficult to look into major markets that way since you know that it is mainly a sophisticated platform for gambling as many who stay out of it choose to do so, but I still haven’t thought much about whether it is a game of luck or not,

But definitely sitting at home, waiting for somebody else to do his or her business to grow and put all the hardwork , you cannot earn money that way, You can show me Warren Buffet but for that you will need all your life to earn that much, moreover, there is only one Warren Buffet and you need to be much more than that to be earning in a real platform, producing something and selling that. That is what is called business, You will have to put hard work and reap benefits for it. You cannot sit at home reading about stocks and how they play and then let somebody else make money for you

Coming back to ideas

I am in Kolkata right now and the flare of ideas that usually chase me while I am here is back again.

I was just thinking that given the question about Bengali Magazine ideas not coming up , and not even many authors coming up to action, I find it sad state of affairs here with us.

 

I think we can atleast we can emanate the Bengali news and views in English , I have not yet come across any strong example of something like that online.

Yes getting something in Bengali and Bengali font could have been a good thing to do , but to start with we can atleast do something with English,

 

Lets get rolling.

Ideas again

Time for some new ideas

I don’t know whether there is a possibility for this in the near future, but what about a channel that completely revolves around creativity,

The creativity channel,

 

About music, food, about movie making, about fashion , about origami, about martial arts, about guitars about publishers, about book writing , about cartooning, about journalism

 

We will interview people from the industry, about how to go ahead with your ideas, not in vague and abstract terms but solid and real life statements and everything put into word,

 

Mainly it will focus on creativity .

It just struck me that we will make a series called the maha America ( like Maha Bharat )

Where we will put Super man as Arjuna, Batman as Yudhistir,

 

I am still in search of the hundred Kauravas. Compiling then from Marvel , Diamond and GI Joes series. I believe the GI Joes will give me a lot of hints.

 

Also a second thing that I want to go ahead is the idea of having a political super hero , Some body like the hero of the movie call Nayak , where I will put in ideas like how to play politics the smarter way.

 

Make this small Sons of bit**es realize  that there ploys could go against them at times. I have also thought about the first plan

 

There will be a state , where one of the districts have gone beyond control and whichever Superintendent of Police goes there becomes corrupt. Now what I do is send one new SP every few months. He goes there and starts his activities within the first few weeks.

Catches some of the goons, puts them in the locker and beats the shit out of them. Then he sells himself slowly to the local guys, he starts playing tricks like creating suspicion and fights among rival gangs, Attends there parties.

Then he starts selling himself to both of them and by the time they both figure out , he is transferred  . This thing is done repeatedly until these guys are out of their will to buy the SP and also realize the ploy . Till then they would have realized there is a smarter player sitting at the top and then we start our bad politics.

Ideas, ideas and ideas

I was think ing about making an app which will be called the face search engine , that is given a portrait, it will go and search the web and show you pics of people who look like you .

 

So this might be a very costly thing to do but not the worst possible application I believe. But people who look alike could have groups of their own . Their could be new communities etc .

 

 

Don’t know whether the idea is feasible but lets see, We are thinking about the logistics of this project

New ideas for business

I think I will open a Pizza Kutir in kolkata sometime in future.
How do you think I will survive in the market ?
I will have to be as innovative as the name suggested .

Menu:
Rasun ruti --- toppings available will be Chital maacher muitha fry, prawn fried so crisp that it breask into powder

pizzam ---- Will have mango toppings. Completely tropical fruit extra vaganza.

PIzzzzzzA --- This pizza will be so long that the people eating will go zzzzz

Kasundi and Mustard will act as sauce. Mishit Doi etc. Mutton jhaal fry etc. I am not able to think much , and if you dont like the menu please suggest me some changes.
