Terrific win to a great final

I am now sitting in my guest house ( office guest house ) . It is 12:05 in the night and the second day of June. Rajasthan ROyals started off gingerly and then finally they won of the lat ball.
THe big knock came off Yusuf Pathan. Kamral Akmal played well only to succumb to some great pressure exerted by Dhoni.
From the Chennai Super Kings side, balaji bowled wait but the wide did it all. The first ever DLF IPL final is over. IPL matches had become an way of life for most of us. Mostly Indian employees who had to enter home as late as possible to escape the bunch to brainless programs on television. I was pretty frustrated with the quality of the programs on TV. THe movies are pretty much predictable , now even the hollywood movies dont ring a bell anywhere.
After spending days tyring to win the marathon movie watching contests in hostel I have now come to believe that it will be difficult to make graphics or movies with better stories soon if no new technology comes up in entertainment.

I really belive that either 3D televisions or movies you yourself can participate ( like an interactive games ) will be the craze in future. The current movies are getting so boring.

Why make Lord of the Rings ( Jackson had to complete it in 3 movies )  . If he had chosen something like Mahabharata he could have spent the rest of his years trying to make that epic. With all the colours and depictions of old epic that we conjure in our mind, whenever the name Mahabharata flashes, I believe it will have to be an Indian director with the backing of a production house like those in Hollywood.

Coming back to IPL, yes finally it is over . That is a sad demise of our pasttimes . We could come back home early. Now I will have nothing to do after coming home. Well, one thing funny was, even the girls who never watched a day long cricket match have taken some time out to watch these matches . ( They were practical in not wasting a whole day , SEE ).

Bengalis moving south

Bengalis, Hmm, always going to Delhi, Rajdhani to Delhi full with Bengalis. Naah, No more. This is a report of Feb 3, 2008.

http://www.telegraphindia.com/1080203/jsp/7days/story_8857329.jsp
Read this if you are willing to find out about the exodus to the south for bengalis. Well, it is not just people from Kolkata but the other districts in West Bengal too. I myself am a bengali from Agartala and my friends are bengalis from Delhi,Oriss ( Buvaneshwar ) or from Asansol , Durgapur and places like that.
Expatriats I say. Even the office in Banaglore is full of Bengalis who have migrated back from the Silicon Valley in US.

Well, just a curtain raiser this blog is. I will keep writing about the Bengali culture, history and we people who had to leave our states only because things are not better off in our homelands.

Sunday Morning

After a month full of working hard on my blog , doing research and finding out stuff about making money online, the calendar has finally hit June. Today I am in the 6th month of the year 2008.

The year is hopping in leaps and bounds. Somebody said music is the pauses between the noises and so is life to be enjoyed that way. If you plan to have fun all year round, that is impossible. And if you are not able to enjoy your holidays too, then you should make your gaps as long as possible.
What I mean is that , if you are not having enough money ( if that is what it takes to make you happy ) for one good vacation , then wait for some more time. Human body and mind can go through anything. Trust me.

All tough mind and body education courses will make you do right that. My conclusion on all successful people is that they are do it with sheer discipline. Yes, god gifted them some brain but it does not stop there . You got to accept the fact that there is a difference between people. Some have and some just dont. The ones that dont, will have go through a process of self realization and will have to tune their dreams ( please dont talk of school books and bed tie stories, where every one has a chance. That is ridiculous ) .

I always thought that by 25 I would have done this and that , and again some more this and that. But now when I am 25 I feel being cheated from life in terms of personal satisfaction. I have been a good child, a good boy friend but there has been a satisfaction in me by others smiles rather than the other way around.

Life has its own small ways of teaching and I like it , now that my material dreams have taken a step back because, without going into too much glamor and shine I have been able to watch and feel glimpses of a life in fame, money and power.
They are not that happening as it sounds and is visible.
Money does not do anything to make you sad, but MAN CHANGES with money.
That is the bad part. Without being Shahrukh Khan or Sachin Tendulkar you can enjoy life too, but then you just got to accept it
