Shinchan

I could not help but mention that today I was watching Shinchan and I liked the  amount of creativity that the creators of this show put in, one has to see it to believe,

there are a large number of Japanese toons that Indian kids watch and will be able to relate about Japan.

Doraemon, Pokemon, Hagemaru etc etc

you can see them all around the place, Dragon Ball Z boxes to school, Shinchan merchandize, some how, Hannah  Montana, Mickey Mouse, are fast becoming things of the past and we are now looking to newer places to find fun and recreation,

the south east of asia though mainly due to sex tourism is becoming popular, but people in the west flock there in large numbers all the time, in any given point of time, whether a terrorist bombing or natural disaster like the tsunamis, you will find more foreigners killed or almost equal number of foreigners killed in these regions,

btw, I started will Shinchan, today Shinchans mom asked him to clean the toilet, though with disgust and utter dejection he did the work, and did it good but used up a costly piece of towel from his moms wardrobe,

When his mom returns, ( Mrs Nohara ) , she does not know how the toilet had been cleaned, but she liked the end product, so elated by it, she gifts Shinchan a box of Futaba cake,

At the same point, Shinchan shouts “ Oooo  , Futaba sey 100 rupiye wala cake”

Children now have started to associate better things with money and the price tag that was so evident from it. I liked it, nice touch from the creators

Last day of September 2009

Great month it was, infact one of the greatest in the past so many years, I liked it, I feel attached to Kolkata more than ever

is it just the feeling of near your home or Kolkata has something more than that the eye can see. Everything is there, to your command, money is still of some lesser importance than life, or how else can you explain a taxi driver, asking to do something early so that he can go home, take his kids out for the pujo, A rickshawallahs stopped haggling, as because he needed to go home early, almost all the shops pulled their shutters down by Saptami , only to point out that, we have done enough and now it is time to live.

Some of us think we live, but all that we do is breath, breath and do it so monotonously, that when the feeling to life goes, we don’t realize, we don’t see the pain, we don’t know that it is happening.

We are numb,  time is a great healer and now that time flies, time is healing faster, I don’t feel anything , the useless ness is sinking in. Nothing is in my hands, all the creativity , all the ideas that will propel me forward are not coming to me. I am becoming a bloated jar of ideas, with nothing to express but accept the fact and carry on,

May be this is called being practical, may be this is called being in life,

may be this is not life at all.

The day after

Though the title does gives you some kind of misleading thoughts, if at all you put some thought after reading it, I am not trying to write about some thing that happened in my life

I am writing about something that happened in almost every Bengalis, heart, today is the day after the Dashami , and today is a Tuesday, today is the 29th of September,

Today China complete 60 years into communism, the Tianammen Square will host their national day , today we witnessed another England, NewZealand, Champions trophy match, today I witnessed, drunkards from all around the Adyanath Palli , come to the pandal surroundings, especially my house, next to it, the ground floor is given to them for all the recreation for the last day. Yes, today there were people out on the roads, for, some like many of my relatives, the Pujo is actually, the days before it, and the days after it, like the chatuthi, the panchami and by shashti we have full fledged, all Kolkata, Durga Pujo , porikrama tourism , and bus services.

IN Agartala, where I was brought up, we will go and stand near the hawkers corner and one by one all the major pujos protimas will float across your eyes,on their way to the Bisarjan,

On this day , Durga goes back to her inlawas house. This chutti , this vacation to the mama jees place is over, and it is time to return, legends abound, stories many to tell, though forgotten in all these years of hard earned neo American culture, I believe, that thought Thomas Friedman says that people are not Americinazing, but I believe that since more and more mediocrity creeps in this society of ours, the more we are starting to despise, anything that is a part of our culture. Some time back , I noticed that neo patriotism, or I call the Dutch Patriotism starts when someone leaves the country and goes abroad, All of a sudden the world is bad and India is good.

Same for we Bengalis, we probaashis ( expatriates ) are more lovers of our cultures then the people here. I could not help noticing the fact that many boys who never go to school are the first ones to celebrate Saraswati Pujo here, they are the first ones to open the bottles after that, all the money collection, all the chaandas, before the Pujo, is only the excuse to have their night or fun later. Many boys here, many talented people here are sitting in the mercy of destiny to turn around the tables for them

They are jobless, hopeless and future less.  And the problem is that they know that,

it is the hopeful that are eager to survive, but hopeless don’t value anything, they can break a piece of art, a masterpiece, without any remorse, they can kill a man running the lives of hundreds in seconds, they can rape a young girl without a second thought, these are dogs of our society, but thing is that nature did not create them, it was we that did it

they are the dogs, they act similarly, you keep one dog happy and you are secure in the area, you give it some food, and it wags, and like good dogs, who are territorial, these goons are pretty much the same too !!!

Well, this is what I can see of the day after Dashami , today , where drunkards whom you will never see throughout the year, will come and gather near the pandal , and will dance, their only platform to show off, once in a year , every dog has its day.

And this we have created, oh god, you do come and go, it is a great time for all of us, it is a great feeling, but after all we are mere mortals and we have done this mistake, we have committed a great fault, we have created dogs, and these will soon bite, and with rising food prices in India, I am doubtful about the next pujas to be as good as it was this year

Dashami ,

Going going gone

that used to be an expression I used to hear in my childhood, for people who were very fast, or had restless movements, come in a jiffy and vanish even quicker.

I don’t know, whether we can define time or any such thing, but can it be just a distant possiblilty that some how we are inside some physical phenomenon, or rather some thing beyond physics, since I was always of the thought that, physics tries to define nature and its laws, and time is something that does not exists within this nature or as a part of the current nature we live in , its definition exists in some other world of its own, we use the virtual usage of the time to generate milestones and checkpoints once in a while to clarify our own needs .

I think somehow we are now living in a age where days fly, time flies, and months go, festivals just hang around all most every time you say mouse. I don’t know, whether we are living in some warp , or thing that is making time go faster now.

I am not willing to part my best days so fast go in oblivion only to be in despair that I can do nothing about it,

It is not only Durga Pujo , that went fast this year,it was just a few hours ago that I took this Photon + connection and now it is already the end of this month and I am standing on the penultimate day of sept 2009. This is mysterious, I don’t know whether others think the same too, or it is just me

By the way I somehow manager to sneak into the Sreebhumi Pujo here, another of Sanatan Rudra Pals protimas, this years though I feel that the there was no need to these long lines that we have, these long queus, the bamboo barricades, All I can say that it was mediocre. Yes the Akshardham feeling takes time to sink in, but the rush and crowd pulling and stuff like those makes it  a bit difficult for many to enjoy them in their true sense.

In any case, I am now  in my home, tired, exhausted, my day with mathematics is over, and I still feel I am good at it, or may be bcoz it was easy to start with.

Cant stop writing

Am waiting for a build to office ( piss…. office work )

Anyways, All I can say is that all of a sudden the feeling of the Pujo , has come and gone, though tomorrow is another day , where many Bengalis have a lot of do, The Bijaya Dashami

This is a very important day in terms of mythology, Today was the day where Ram killed Ravana and in many parts of the country it is celebrated as Dusshera, but for us, we the Bengali , it is still Durga Pujo, And Dashami . Though we don’t call it Maha Dashami like we do for Shashti, Saptami and the rest. All I can tell is that the Dusshera is the festival of the north and here, we have our own Sindoor Khela, ( where all married women will smear vermillion , play , dance and sing ) , Though it is not that melodramatic, but yes, for women there are a lot of things that are part of the Dashami,

they ask to the mother for a good coming year, and happiness and wellbeing for the family

IN my childhood, I used to go this nearby pandal ( the great Grandious club) it still stands there, out there in the middle of all the drama that has come and gone . With almost all the books that I had, I will the feet of all the idols there with the books, we used to put sweet in their mouths, coins here and there, take some sacred leaves and flowers and put it in the books for a better coming years,

Those were the years, when I thought that hope and belief is everything, I don’t have enough faith or I am not praying enough and so things don’t happen,. Over the years I have learnt that without hard work nothing comes , but the final learning of all is that there lies something , beyond hard work, there is something beyond that piece of mentality that says, that I work so hard, I solve so many problems at work, at business, that I need and deserve to be more happy, etc, etc

I don’t know,I think I am being materialistic , but only after I have enjoyed some of the basic material pleasures can I judge that it is not that good for me, till then the suspense kills me …

Dashami early morning 2009

Today we went around 1 Am in the morning, actually the end of Nobomi raatri ,

I can only tell you that I am so tired that I cannot write a big paragraph, there are so many expressions that I will misappropriate, there are so many thoughts and feelings that I have brought with me that I am bit hazy or dazzled to be correct. College Square, man, that you can call as mad rush, though there was less space on the roads and people were tightly bound within the limits of the footpath for their march towards the pandals. That way one thing happens , is that the buses can ply faster and go smooth.
The people on the road suffer the most. Today I was just guessing and did a rough estimation, there were about 40 K people in the square alone and at snails pace we made it to the Pandal, Obviously a great work by the family of Sanatan Pal one of the most famous murtikars from Kumar tuli from the yesteryears, and they do like to keep the tradition intact. But there were few people from the upper middle class as I could make it, I have nothing against the Biharis, but this I can tell that today they pissed me off. Every guy on the top of their voice, a indecent song, a whistle, and a elbow here and there, and shouting slogans to no help, I could not make it out, where are the Bengalis when it comes to seeing the pandals in hoards or is it, just that, they succumbed to their own fortunes or misfortunes and they leave the city when time comes to enjoy and celebrate. May be they have left this 4 day wonder pandals for the rest of the world to admire, and they take their time off for some bookreading, just the festive feeling, going early to the mandaps for anjalis, for the Sandhi Puja. May be they leave the job of push and pull to a people of different grooming all together,

I don’t know, I don’t want to really generalize or write something sentimental here, but the attitude of the Biharis is something I cannot simple gulp down sitting. Whether Benares Hindu University s once made temp decision to spare the college from Bihari politics, was step towards the good, I have no idea. …

Tomorrow another important day , I have to teach maths to my fiancée, the whole day , And also have my work ( pending for days )…

Nabami

aaj Shubho Nabami

there were a few drops from heaven in the evening and I am pretty sure that today being the last day of the Pujo, the Pandals will be full to their brims tonight,

Sitting here in Kolkata, I got a chance to have a preview of the whole thing this time, more close than I usually do .

Visited a relatives place, where they have their own Pujo, and it has its own existence that is a niche of its own.

This Pujo I learnt a new thing, I saw that many Rickshawwallas now want to take their kids to the Pujo and will rather go home on time and not do the extra time that kills a man. The Taxi guy today was so nice that I could not believe  my ears, when he told me about his life and the problems he has. He knows about Karl Marx, Mao Zedong and talks about everything wrong with this country.

All I could tell him is that this country has 5 times the population of that of America and for us to live a higher standard of living we need to become 5 times the current America, isn’t it, all I could tell was that working in the weekdays in South City Mall and weekends in this taxi , all he will ever do is just dream just like me, we are dreamers, we have been put to sleep long back. Some of us will wake up and some not. Some will be strong, some will be weak, and rest , which is the majority will be at the mercy of destiny, they will never be able to dare to dream, since it gives a lot of pain, it makes you realize, that something or the other went wrong and this is the misery that you will have to suffer, All you can do is  give a smile, take it as it comes, and thank that you were not born in Afghanistan or some remote corner in Bangladesh . The misery for the people in Bangladesh is more in places where they see their relatives and close friends go abroad and send home their pics of luxurious life, these are the people who know that there is a chance, and they are all waiting, some will make it , some not ..

By the way , this time in Durga PUjo I realized that many can afford to rent a car and they have made traffic jams as long as a mile all around, In South Kolkata, there are just no entry points to keep your vehicle anywhere. There is just no place to park. A janaplabon as they call it … ( a mad rush you can say )

No one wants to stay at home after seeing the festivity on television  it seems

Its been 16 months since I have started to blog, but nothing much has come out of it other than some rather odd and random thoughts.

A complete nothing

Today is a down down day , a feeling of complete nothing ness.Doesmy becoming something mean that ten others should feel this nothing ness

I don’t know

Will talk about these later , a blog is a place to open up a bit, but there is little that you should keep to yourself, all I can put today is this feeling of nothing ness has now sunk in and I don’t feel a bit comfortable about it

Maha Saptami 2009

Yes, today is the Saptami , today the devi , ma Uma is supposed to leave for her dads home. Akal Bodhan was the Puja that Lord Rama did to awaken the devi during this time of the year when she is not working. That just reminds me that in our office the whole Shanghai team switches off for a whole 10 days lot , and all take this leave without exceptions, rather to enforece it, the office premises are closed during this period,

Even US has a shutdown period,it is only in India where you can find the office open on all possible days and events, IT was closed in Hdyerabad during the time YS Rajashekhar Reddys sad demise in the helicopter crash last month, the office was closed in Hdyerabad, but the managers in Bangalore kept pushing the people to work in Hyderabad.  Atleast, we had to work on the weekends to make up for it,

All wounds healed and all stories told, differences apart, today a Bengali can enjoy the festive mood, while at work too. He has the net to help him, with the decent tata sky connection you can see Star Ananda, and ETV Bangla anytime of the day you want.

I could only go and see the Salt Lake pujas for about 2 hours today , they had moderate crowds and I liked the evening gatherings out there, they seem to be have made a world outside of Kolkata, they took Bengal from here to the west and started a new form of Pujo out there, then they mixed things from both cultures and then finally on their way home they came back with all the paraphernalia they could and along came the Salt Lake Pujas.

A stage or a  set for another Jhumpa Lahiri story, the Salt Lake Pujas have different meaning all together. Well tomorrow I am planning to hire an auto for a all day long trip of the city, I find Autos to be more sensible way to travel, it is more airy and getting in and out is easier. Anyways, enough for today, I am not able to type more…..

Durga Pujo Kolkata Maha Shashti

Today ,

September 24 2009

Around the world

New Zealand plays South Africa, A Russian car manufacturer announces to cut 26700 jobs. I don’t remember the right name though, was a flash news on BBC and I had  a passing glance, while reading the Pujo Barshiki Anandamela 2009,

Finishing it quickly so that  I can post one to my manager somewhere out there in the south of India where I don’t want to go back , seeing the festivities here, though I have been here, seems to be a rebirth of memories to some.

This years edition is much better than the last years , Shirshendu Mukherjee, Sunil Gangopadhay, Samaresh Majumdar, and the new found lady PM and TM ( maaney female Pradosh Mittir, and Tapesh Mittir are here ,I mean Pragyaparomita Mukherjee and Titir ) . I think they saved the good ones at least for this ,

“ Golemle Lok “ too good a read, and obviously the new found craze for picture stories of Feluda does make a reckoning. I still miss some creativity some where, except for Arjun, which till last year was exceptional , but somehow , too many  snakes, elephants and too many adventurous rides in one sitting was just too much to grasp.

Eager software engineers all around the country do make all this beside the river bungalow trips once in a while and all the feedback I get is that, except for some Bisons, there are hardly any animals out there.

The only way they could be protected I think is by finding some religious meaning to their exixtence in this country of ours.

All I am worried and sometimes not worried is that even if I am sitting here in Kolkata though, the years pass too fast, and the point that I was worried about the most, that I may be adding years to my experience and not exp to my years is because, time is just flying.

We may be leading a good fast life, much better than our past generations, but sorry I beg to differ. I still think they put more energy and enthusiasm in to everything they did, today with the vague ideas of values and the constant exposure of family issues which again was set in due to some reasons beyond the control of every human being, is what makes man , fear everything ,almost everything other than money.

Cell phone culture has a very a teaching , today , we don’t keep out promises bcoz we can change the plans the last minute. Earlier , we had to be there ,on time, and punctuality and keeping your word mattered . In todays world, the real genuine person is the one who can make time , in this unpredictability. The real busy man is the one who will be available to you all the time, since my being productive every minute he is really and true to the word, busy

And the ones who say , that there is no time  “ I am so busy “ is the one who will be making excuses all the time.

Well coming back to the topic of Durga Puja, I am sitting in my chair working for the last 10 hours or so, this is Maha Shashti, being an outsider in this city Kolkata, where language is the common thing that I have with the people here, I don’t find the move and zeal to go down there and attend it, moreover I am working from home and really taking a favor so as to say, from my manager, SO I have to work and keep the things tidy and updated.

I am a lucky man to be here for the PUjas for the 2nd consecutive year. Somehow the festive mood has set in and online and tele porkiramas do make up for a lot of the loss that I feel by not going anywhere. May be tomorrow I will plan something later in the evening, much after the Friday is over so that my conscience will know that I have had a fuill and complete working day right here from my desk here in Kolkata

The festive mood is in the air, all ads on televisions, the blare of the loud speakers out side, the people shouting the children shooting toy guns, All can be heard sitting here near the window.

South Kolkata had some torrential rains it seems, the weather department to clear it hands of any responsibility has kept telling or flashing the news all throughout that there will be showers this Puja, which obviously due to the early pujas in September could be a childs guess,

Anyways, there are some Pujos that you should not miss in Salt Lake area, which have started to become popular due the quality of the brains that go behind the ideas there, mostly NRIs and expatriates who returned. I like the talent that went abroad, and then came back , shows in it grandeur with all the professional touch that is needed

Well, today I drop my scribbling here. One thing more. My Sister has started to learn Chinese, it was three months back that she joined Ram Krishna Mission and Calcutta University for the Chinese courses and it is already three months over, which is a considerable time, I think this is scary , the way time flies when you are busy

Durga Puja in Kolkata

For the second consecutive year now I am here in Kolkata for the Puja eve, a whole week to be correct.Actually a whole month.I just saw the whole thing unfurl in front of my eyes. Last week there was this Vishwakarma puja thatg we were talking about, all I could notice was that the standards have gone up. Rickshwawallahs here in Kolkata now charge more than many meterd cabs all around the country. I found out that a rickshaw stand here in has an average of 20-35 pullers, and they fetch in about 700-800 rs per head and zoom, they have a budget of 20-25 k to talk of. In that amount they can do a pandal, the lighting for the day or two , the pujari , the flower decorations, the fruits and the vegetables given to the lord are also theirs, since they got the money now, the dance floors are ready , speakers blast, and these guys who are sort of means to move from point A to point B for many people , come out in the open, They show out their talents. The second night they all celebrate, and trust me half the money collected goes for this bonanza of a night, where they bring their families, share the booze and take home a happy family.

Heads high, all paid from money that was converted from their sweat and hard work. I liked it here. Well that was the last week, now it is already Mahalaya and done, All I could remember of that day was phut......

over in a flash , and another Puja is upfront,

Just the last whole week went in a frenzy of office work. I tend to speak about office almost all the time, Thanks to a second life which I devote for my fiancée and towards some books I can speak at times, when needed, about matters that concern the world and in general our Bengal

Yes our Bengal, the news programmes, some politically biased and some not spew out some oneliners day in out “Patha abarodh “, that is one of the most common things that I can hear whenever he or she turns on the television here. I usually have my physio therapy sessions here at home. When the TENS ( transcutaneous electric nerve stimulation ) thingy keeps tickling my arms and shoulders, I can as well spend some free time to listen to the news. So I put on the new channels, invariably for the last 20 odd days I have started to see a pattern in almost all the news channels,

Somewhere or the other, we have a patha oborodh, or what you can literally put as Road block. Road block , not by any natural cause, not by any accident, not by any wild herd of elephants, who usually don’t come into city though, they prefer to stay out of politics I think. Yes, after years of adventurous stories about elephants keeping people stranded on the roads , they have decided to retire. They decided to give this sole responsibility to the people of Kolkata. Here they do patha oborodh, whenever they feel like doing it, Mostly during the early morning hours when other people who may not wililngly want to do path oborodh, may have to unwillingly become spectators.

One can see the ecstasy in a Lionel Messi, once he scores a goal, in front of a huge crowd, or a rare century from any of the new comers in Indian cricket, able to show off his helmet or his bat. This same, ingenuine ecstasy in the face of the ones here, and the television their way to reach to all the homes. Most of them don’t even know what is the purpose of the block but they submit humbly, some have no work to do ,

Once in a while I do turn on to BBC to find out whether it is a natural phenomenon here, or is it found all around the world, is it the whim of some DNA concoction here in the people , or is it something to do with stopping people from going to any productive work. Some people have no work to do here, it is true and so there are phrases and proverbs that come cheap here “ nei kaaj to khoi bhaaj” which is a small kick in the butt, to save yourself some more offensive language . It generally means that when you have nothing else to do , you will be doing something so useless that would sum up to something less than nothing. Negative energy pent up with years of frustration,

and that seems to be increasing in this city more than ever, the youth is frustrated with lack to income opportunity , the world is really flat and flatness first started within the nation,

Many in Kolkata don’t dream about a decent living in a country abroad, they are genuinely lazy at times and don’t think a need to fight in a visa line. Maybe not lazy but have an ego that says, we have a Subhash Chandra Bose, Amrtya Sen, we are the grand children of Rabindranath Tagore, we have Jagadish Chandra Bose to commemorate ,sitting here, Brave fighters of the independence that india won, we have stories to tell our coming generations, show them how the 25 th of Baishakh has to come and go, where and how the Borsho and Borsha boron to take place, we are neck deep in literature,

Immigration to Canada and then cleaning a Canadian store and become slaves for the second time, nope that is not the thing that they want. But access to some other cities within the nation and friends and relatives with more talent and those who could make use of the subsisdized education programs here in Kolkata, believe some of the engineering fees in Kolkata are 16 -18 dollars a years and they produce talent that will go and eat some major jobs all around the world, Jadavpur has each years some students who started with going to school for a mere mid day meal , today they take decisions that will make or break millions of lives,

Great is this city and great is the humiliation that one has , when he goes to other places only to realize that no if you don’t make a move fast you are gone,

Deng Xiaoping also made a decision years back and that was progressive and that caught today America in the the wrong footing, as slowly China has now risen the Olympics tally of gold to be the number sportws country in the world, they have now more PhD s than any other country in the world, they don’t want to be the number one exporter to America any more, now they have seen a chance, they want to be the next America all together,

They are the next big thing,

And similarly, Kolkata that used to be the genius, the center of all administrative reforms, all great work , and great minds is now losing to other cities in terms of living conditions , in terms of management. Sorry to say that, but all these good for nothing generations sitting on the walls and thinking only about the darkness ahead, and spending time thinking about how to stop it, or to choose the path of crime is not generated by a inner will or a nature or history of crime. It is generated by the lack of opportunities created in the last few years, Why is it happening,

the thing to wonder is that, more than 50 % of the talented students and almost all the good toppers, the meritorious are not even fighting for a job here . They are all gone to Bangalore, or to Hyderabad, to Bombay or to Delhi,

you can find them all the way in Coimbatore, Kochi, Rameshwaram. They have an allergy towards coming back , all they want to do is visit once in a while and return back before the allergy hits back. So many creative people, (see the pandals ) , so much talent, but the city cannot give enough back , Why is it so?

Is this just a political ideology that could become all of a sudden non meritocratic, I don’t know, there is some major demographical handicap , which is the pain here.

I have no idea!!!

A medical journey

I was searching for a lot of things online, one whimsical evening.

Actually today is the last day of my sick leave

This was one of those sick leaves that I should have encashed long back . I have never been this troubled by my body ,

It started with conjunctivitis, for a whole period of 7 days, Dr Das a friend of manager did take a glance at it and asked me

certain home made measures and I was quick to use all of them, by then my back ache had become acute, ( not chronic yet )

I suffered the back ache and the conjunctivitis for a week, surprisingly , the conjunctivitis lasted for a whole week, and one fine morning the redness was gone and I was left with a bit of irritation which was ok for me. By the way I was in Bangalore staying with my friend Avinash, who had arranged for me in Indiranagar. The same room that was once the abode of Puranjoy and Alex Tadu Ranka. Anyways will introduce them later. It was a difficult time for me with my manager completely one a chase for every accountable minute. I was not eating proper diet too in the Bangalore setup as there was not opportunity to set a cook etc out there. I tried cooking myself most of the time.

I came back to Hdyerabad after two desperate weeks in Hyderabad, completely tired after the flight, I fell sick the same day , with high fever and body ache, I went to Yashoda the following Monday after finding that Sunday was a complete no no for hospitals in Hyderabad. Did not find one single one out there though . The doctor in Yashoda found sever wheezing and prescribed me lecope and some steroid to reduce the asthmatic conditions,

The medicine course did not work and the next Monday I decided to come to Kolkata where Dr Prabhat Bhattacharjee here in Unimed ( opp to Jaya Cinema Hall) did a checkup . Personally I feel that he is a genius with the medicine that he prescribed working like magic.

After the flu like symptoms were gone , I went to a Orthopaedic surgeon for the back ache and they found it to be RSI ( repetitive strain injury ) , which happens to people like me who are born to be employees for ever. I know that I am not a genious and my life will be struggle to even cope up to the levels that excellent and superior human beings tread, I have met some guys who can come anyday and take my job happily, they are the people who were born to rule the world, live according to their whimsies. They are the ones who will win it in the long run, not people like us who know that they have nothing to cling to ,

People appreciate entrepreneurship , but there is a lot to be lost in the process, we look at winners but the hundreds to loser don’t even have a meager existence. I have to fight for many things in life and god forbid for iq levels below me there might be people who are barely breathing at times,

Anyways, RSI is a bad thing to happen to a 26 year old, I went Dr Amal Bhattacharjee (  Bhattacharjees rule, and Mr Puranjoy , who is now pursuing his PhD rules too )., There is a Apollo clinic in the Jessore road here in Barat. He sits there, Me and Vishwanand went there to find that he wont be coming on that day , I went again a day later , and this time I was diagnosed to have RSI. Took Myoril for about 8 days and got this sever stomach pain

the next whole week I was sitting curved , finally getting admitted in the Apollo Gleneagles  here in Canal Street in Kolkata,

I got discharged this Friday evening,

Today is a Sunday two days post hospitalization. I went for cashless in Apollo, and the behavior there was unless I produce atleast a bill of 1lakh or more I am not a patient worth treatment there. I had to undergo an endoscopy and the story of that horrible 1 and ½ minutes can be seen in the video cd that they have provided  for a huge lumpsum of 450 rs,

Everytime one doctor visits your bed ( may be just to control a devastating or a harmless fart ) , the hospital charges 500 rs , and for all the other things from gloves to room cleaning to anything, the hospital has become a nightmare for a non insured person,.

Anyways, there are many charges like the medical record, the thermometer that they buy in bulk, the registration fees and the hand cleaner in the bed which they repetitively use for multiple patients will not be covered by the  insurance and I had to bear it,

One guy with a bill of 2 lakh had to still pay 50 k . I think there needs to be strong lawas against all this bills and strong laws against all these unlawful activities, there was once a time in this country where doctors where given the status next to the gods, but I hope that they might have some pride left in themselves to even think about some spirituality.

Anyways, I was actually diagnosed with Acute Gastritis and then Duodenitis,Starting from eye till the stomach , I have been through every kind of horrendous examination and medical treatment possible in the last few days, from ultrasonography to urine, blood and Swine Flu test,

Now I am in the restive mood , and I have asked my manager to give me permission to work from Kolkata. I have taken a Tata Indicom Photon + , The service is excellent and I now use it all the time. I have a wired lan at home. I will be needing some backup soon.  God forbid something happens tomorrow. I need to start a Physiotherapy soon., the main treat ment is still pending and I need to start it soon,. But I will work this week whole just to check that  I can possibly finish my office work sitting here in Kolkata.

May be that will help  me in getting some more stay in Kolkata. I am happy to be here since the food is according to diet and in the long run if there are problems working remotely I will need to take up a job here in Kolkata

All depends on luck, destiny and future. Good bye for now
